The 1457.1 Hold Open Device is a convenient way to prevent door damage and improve staff safety. Installed on the top panel, the 1457.1 Hold Open Device latches in place to prevent the unwanted closure of your roll-up door, ensuring staff are not injured and minimizing unnecessary damage from the door striking the bottom of the frame. Cargo is also less likely to be damaged during loading, either from an unrolling door hitting items left at the compartment opening, or from being struck by a sagging door whilst being transferred in or out of the vehicle. This helps minimize delayed shipments and lost revenue from damaged cargo, while also increasing staff efficiency while packing by giving them the maximum amount of space to handle large and bulky cargo.
E-coated parts are provided as standard on all device components for corrosion resistance and minimized maintenance and repairs. The top panel latch installation is more secure than a track-mounted assembly, which relies on friction to hold the door open. The 1457.1 Hold Open Device is designed specifically for WHITING®'s DryFREIGHT™, Aluminum Clad, Laminated Premium, and Premium Plate door models.
